Elias Morrow

Chief engineer for the Carraway Dam project.

Elias Morrow was the chief engineer responsible for supervising construction of Carraway Dam, beginning with the project’s groundbreaking in 1948. He was contracted through the Appalachian Energy & Mine Commission for the duration of the project.

Beyond his supervision of the dam, Morrow is not extensively documented in publicly available Commission records.
